September 17 - 23, 2025 - 7 Days

Join us for a watercolor retreat in the city of Porto, Portugal, from September 17 to 23, 2025. You'll start with a welcome dinner to get settled into your villa and meet your fellow artists. Each day, you'll paint at stunning spots like Foz do Douro, and the lush Jardins do Palácio de Cristal (Crystal Palace Gardens). Enjoy a cooking class to savor local cuisine and a tile painting session. Evenings are for unwinding with dinners and free time to explore Porto's charm. Mid-week, try your hand at acrylic and oil painting with a local artist. As the retreat winds down, you'll paint along the serene banks of the Douro River and in the beautiful São Roque Park. End the retreat with a beautiful farewell dinner.

Trip Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Porto

    Arrive at Porto Airport and transfer to villa accommodation. Welcome Group Dinner.

  • Day 2 - Foz do Douro

    Watercolor workshop at Foz do Douro, where the river meets the sea.

  • Day 3 - Cooking Class

    Morning Cooking Class followed by a watercolor workshop at the villa.

  • Day 4 - Crystal Palace Gardens

    Watercolor workshop spending the day at Crystal Palace Gardens

  • Day 5 - Tile and Acrylic Painting

    Participate in tile painting class, where you'll design your own tile.

  • Day 6 - Douro Riverbanks

    Watercolor workshop painting along the banks of the Douro River.

  • Day 7 - São Roque Park

    Watercolor workshop at São Roque Park, with plenty of beautiful gardens and serene walking paths.

    Farewell Dinner.
